Lisa Andersen is a four-time world surfing champion and was named one of the 100 greatest sportswomen of the century by “Sports Illustrated. She’s also credited as being instrumental in establishing equal pay for women in surfing.

Through the years, it has developed a cult-like following, with a 12-year run on Broadway, international tours, and various adaptations.
