Celebrating 50 Years of Orange Coast

It’s a momentous anniversary for a print publication—half a century of storytelling. We can’t help but be nostalgic—and so very proud to be Orange County’s longest-running lifestyle magazine. So please join us as we look back at Orange Coast, and our community, through the years.

“LUMINARIES OF LIGHT: PIONEERS OF THE CALIFORNIA LIGHT & SPACE MOVEMENT”

The Honarkar Foundation for Arts and Culture is hosting an exhibit with the goal of celebrating the formative California Light and Space art movement that took shape in the 1960s. The exhibit will showcase art from some of the movement’s most influential figures, with pieces from a dozen artists. Each piece uses unconventional materials to explore the concept of perception as it relates to light and space. Resin, glass, and neon are just some of the mediums used to play with light and immerse the viewer. Plus, more things to do in O.C. this week!
