Scene and Seen: OC Women2Women Mother Of The Year Luncheon
Donning pretty dresses, and festive hats and fascinators, some 85 women gathered at the Santa Ana Country Club for an afternoon of sisterhood, silent auctions, and a sumptuous lunch.
The classic film-turned-Broadway hit is onstage at Segerstrom Center for the Arts through Jan. 5, as part of its tour across the country. Marty McFly transports back in time to 1955 in a time machine built by the scientist Doc Brown and unintentionally completely changes the course of history. McFly and Brown must embark on a crazy adventure to fix everything and send McFly back to the future where he belongs. This stage play was adapted by the film's creators and directed by Tony Award-winner John Rando with original music from Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard. Expect to hear hits from the film like “Power of Love” and “Earth Angel” as well.
