World-renowned, award-winning pianist Leif Ove Andsnes will perform an impressive program of music on the Soka Center stage. The evening will begin with Grieg’s “Piano Sonata in E Minor, Op. 7” followed by Geirr Tveitt’s Piano Sonata No. 29, Op. 129, “Sonata Etere” before a brief intermission. The evening will end with a performance of Chopin’s “24 Preludes, Op. 28.” Each of the three compositions are deeply emotional and poetic pieces of music. Plus, more things to do in O.C. this week!
