5 Questions With: Chris Simms

When you consider Simms’ family history, it makes sense that he’d create a restaurant concept that’s clever and family friendly, and that offers a menu of hearty, pleasing fare. After all, his grandfather and father founded Mimi’s Cafe. And Simms? He’s the founder and CEO of Lazy Dog Restaurants, which launched in O.C. and in two decades has grown to more than 50 locations across the U.S. We caught up with Simms for a chat.
