The North County town marked 120 years of cityhood in 2024, so we’re celebrating with nibbles from local restaurants old and new.
Another year of magical winter festivities is returning to Orange County. This year’s festival includes a North Pole Journey experience, a tree-lighting show, winter-themed photo ops, snow to play in, ice tubing, interactive characters, live entertainment, a carnival, polar putt putt, themed food and drinks, and more. The spirit of the season comes alive with more than a million lights and elaborate holiday decor in this eclectic festival. Plus, more things to do in O.C. this week!
291 Turns 100: History
In 1924, 30 World War I veterans came together in Newport Harbor with a mission: to create a community hub for fellow servicemen. Led by their first commander, Raymond Hitchcock Brunswick, they raised funds to purchase land on 10th Street for $1,500.
