Some 600 foodies filed into the Marriott Irvine Spectrum to sample sumptuous bites from dozens of restaurants that participated in a weeklong offering of special prix fixe menus. In its 16 years of existence, OC Restaurant Week has become the largest culinary event in Orange County, enticing some 200,000 people to dine out and indulge in special offerings served at more than 150 restaurants from throughout the region.
